Central Arkansas Fermenters – December 2025 Meeting Minutes

1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order.

2. Review of November Meeting

  • Appreciation was expressed to Brian and Dalton for cooking at the November meeting.
  • A $2,000 donation was presented to Women of Worth, the 2025 Little Rocktoberfest charity recipient.
  • Women of Worth sent a thank‑you card and a Christmas card, which were shared with the club by Bonz.

3. Competitions Report

Luke provided an overview of upcoming competitions, including:

  • Bluebonnet Brew-Off
  • Extravaganza

Joe also discussed details related to Bluebonnet.

4. Announcements and Updates

Ian’s Report

  • Local Breweries: Stone’s Throw has several winter beers on tap. It has been a challenging year for local breweries; members are encouraged to support them by ordering local beer at bars and restaurants and by purchasing merchandise or gift cards for holiday gifts.
  • H.A.M. Art Night (January 9): Two historic beers brewed this year will be served. The grains for these beers were malted in-house.
  • H.A.M. Hop Off (July 10, 2026): Members are encouraged to begin planning their entries. Any recipe from before 1900 qualifies.
  • Nog Off (December 12): Cody and Diana will be serving their “Mead the Halls” eggnog. Members are encouraged to attend and support them.

Birthday Brew Day

  • Brian and Melissa will host their annual Birthday Brew Day on December 14, 2025.
  • Brian, Luke, Dalton, and Bo plan to brew the Grand Masterz Amber Ale.
